How to Spot a Real “Have a Seat” Labubu

If you’re out toy hunting and come across a Have a Seat Labubu, here are a few things to check before making a purchase. Whether it’s boxed or loose, these details can help you determine if it’s authentic.

If the Labubu is in the Box:
1. Metallic Barcode:
On the back of the box, there will be a metallic barcode.
Hold your phone’s camera over it—this should take you to the Pop Mart website.
Once purchased, you can scratch off the metallic sticker and enter the rest of the barcode on their site to verify authenticity.

If the Labubu is Loose (Without a Box) or once opened.

Here are key features to look for:
Eyelashes & Mouth Line:
Both should match the color of the eyes, which should also complement the overall color scheme of the figure.
Forehead & Hairline:
The real figure has a slightly receding hairline, but a fake one will have less hair and incorrect coloring.
Pop Mart Logo Stamp:
On the bottom of the left foot, there should be a stamped Pop Mart logo.
Eyes:
Always oval-shaped with two shades of the same color.
Inside the eye, there should be a geometric white highlight—this is a key detail!
Ears:
The inner ear will always have an outline that matches the figure’s main color.
